Kate Burgess works part time as a health visitor in Ashford, Middlesex and since 2002 she has worked as a Smoking Cessation Specialist for Surrey PCT running Stop Smoking groups and has also been involved with Health Promotion activities. Originally Kate trained at The Royal London Hospital and qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in 1993. She qualified as a midwife in 1995 in Chertsey, Surrey and as a health visitor in 1997.
