This will be done only as an addition to our Maxi or Total Wellbeing packages. We recommend this to clients over the age of 45. You will need to come to one of our conveniently located medical centres for the examination component of the assessment. The assessment includes:

  • PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood test (recommended if you are over 45)
  • Prostate examination (voluntary)
  • Testicular Examination (voluntary)
  • Summary report of findings

Time taken for the assessment 15 minutes
Visit 1: 5 minutes for taking blood.
Visit 2: 10 minutes consultation with our doctor for prostate examination (voluntary) and explanation of result.

The YourDoc Health Professionals looking after you will be our Doctor (GP) and Health Care Assistant.

Health Professional's comments
The Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test can detect problems with the prostate including prostate cancer. It is however not specific for prostate cancer only.
