Barbara Palloni – Massage, reflexology and Indian head massage
- I have been a holistic therapist since 2003, fully qualified in aromatherapy, advanced reflexology, indian head massage, crystal therapy, hot stones therapy, thermal auricular therapy, reiki and swedish massage.
- At present I am specialized in advanced medical massage, which incorporates various techniques, including myofascial release, trigger points therapy and sport/deep tissue techniques fused together with structural integration. This medical massage has been tailored to relieve pain in the body caused by injury, chronic postural problems or other chronic body aches and pain.
- My qualifications MAR, MICHT, ITEC, also include an Honour degree in Linguistics, a diploma in Public Service Interpreting and a teaching certificate in further and adult education.
I have experience providing holistic therapies to elderly, HIV sufferers, mothers to be and chronic sufferers. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists (Aor) and of the Federation of Holistic therapists (FHT). - I run a clinic in Lewes (River Clinic – Wednesdays) and in Brighton (Jing Pain Clinic, Saturdays) and have my own private mobile practise offering complementary treatments throughout Sussex.
- At present I am also actively providing aromatherapy treatments to the staff, nurses and doctors at the Brighton hospital cancer department and breast cancer unit in Preston park, Brighton.

Important background info for clients:
Shiatsu is given through clothing. You normally lie on a futon (a Japanese cotton mat), on your front, back or side, though Shiatsu is adaptable and a chair can be used if you prefer. People of all ages and abilities are welcome. After the treatment you will probably feel invigorated yet relaxed. Sometimes overall health may improve before current symptoms.
